Excise taxation inspector punjab recruitment exam 2011 syllabus study material notes books coaching sample papers

Subordinate Services Selection Board (SSSB), Punjab has invited applications for the 100 posts of Excise & Taxation Inspector:

Posts-100,

Age : 18 to 37 years as on 01/01/2011,

Pay Scale : 10300/- during Induction period & after that Rs.10300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 3600/-

Reservations & Age Relaxations available & as per rules (See Add.)

Qualifications :

i) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from any Recognized University/Institution

ii) 120 Computer course experience from any 9001 ISCO recognized Institute OR Candidate has passed Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to “O” Level Course from DOEACC

iii) 10th pass as with Punjabi language subject

Application Fee : Rs.600 for GEN, Rs.150/- for SC/ST/BC & No fee for Ex. Service Man candidates be paid through Punjab State Treasury Challan under the Head “0051-Publice Service Commission-105-State Public Service Commission-Examination Fee-01-(S.S.S.Board, Punjab) Examination Fee”. Fee be paid in SBOI or SBOP Banks. No fee for Ex. Army Man & Reserved.

How to Apply : Applications in the prescribed format along with fee receipt and all necessary documents should reach to the “Secretary, Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab, Tower No. 4-5, 1st Floor, Van Complex, Sector 68, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) on or before 29/07/2011 upto 5.00 PM.

Selection Process : Written test & Counseling of the successful candidates

Written Test :

General English : 25 questions,

General Knowledge : 25 questions,

Mental Ability : 50 questions,

Mathematical Skills : 50 questions (Matric Level)

no the dates are very much right as being notified in ajit........rest roll numbers are starting coming to our houses so the paper is actually on 23rd oct

The preliminary result is a scam...... candidates with lower percentage than me have cleared.

It can issue deficiency assessment and impose such measures provided under the law within the prescribed period to see to it that taxes are paid and that tax measures are complied with. This does not however follow that a taxpayer being assessed is doing an illegal business because non-payment of the tax does not make the business illegal.
