ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POST OF JBT [A or B]

[A]
(i) Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University.
(ii) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known) of not
less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE.
(iii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by CBSE New Delhi applicable
for the teachers teaching class I to V in accordance with the Guidelines framed by
the NCTE.

#(i) Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
(ii) Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by CBSE New Delhi applicable
for the teachers teaching class I to V in accordance with the Guidelines framed by
the NCTE.
Note: #candidates who have acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any
NCTE recognised institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in
classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily
undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the
NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.

Age Limit for JBT Teacher Recruitment:
The age limit for the posts of JBT is 21-37 years. Age is to be calculated as on 01-01-2018.

AGE RELAXATION
(i) SC, OBC, Ex-Servicemen or any other category will be given age relaxation as per the
rules/instructions issued by Govt. of India/Chandigarh Administration in this regard.
(ii) As per instructions issued by Chandigarh Administration vide letter no. 27/4/94-IH(7)-
2015/16074 dated 03.08.2015, a candidate would be eligible for the benefit of
reservation of Other Backward Class (OBC) whose caste is notified in the State List of
Other Backward Classes (OBCs) of Union Territory, Chandigarh.
(iii) No candidate will be accorded age relaxation and benefit of reservation unless he/she
attaches the requisite certificate issued by competent authority at the time of document
verification.

Exam Date: The Date of written exam is 27 January 2019.

Selection Procedure: Objective type test of 150 marks.

Qualifying Marks : 40% (60Marks)

Syllabus PPSC Cooperative Inspector Punjab Recruitment Exam 2016

The scheme of the examination process for Inspector Cooperative Societies in the Department of Cooperative, Government of Punjab shall be as under:

Competitive Exam (Objective Type) - 300 Marks 
 Interview - 40 Marks 
 Grand Total - 340 Marks 

The salient features of the written competitive exam shall be as follows:- 

 (a) The exam will consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions. 
 (b) The standard of questions would be to test the knowledge and general awareness as is expected of a person who has attained education at least up to graduation level. 
 (c) The duration of exam will be two hours. 
 (d) All questions will carry equal marks (three marks each). 
(e) There will be no negative marking. 
 (f) The Viva-Voce shall carry 40 marks and final result shall be prepared on the basis of the grand total of the marks obtained by the Candidates in the Written Competitive Examination and Viva-Voce.
